Business Trip Car Rental in Tbilisi

Business trip car rental in Tbilisi: getting the car when you land, costs you can see in advance, parking in the centre and planning a week of meetings.

Business Trip Car Rental in Tbilisi

Business trip car rental in Tbilisi differs from a holiday rental: the car has to be where you need it, at the hour you need it, at a price known in advance. The car is delivered to Tbilisi airport or your hotel, and there is no deposit.

Getting the car when you land

The car waits in the Tbilisi airport car park, and you look for it yourself; delivery runs around the clock, and night delivery has a separate price, confirmed when you book. The handover takes 10–15 minutes, so you leave for the hotel straight away.

Put your arrival time in the request: if the flight is delayed, we can wait for you or leave the car with instructions on how to reach it and pick it up. Requests are confirmed between 9:00 and midnight, so if you land at night, book the car during the day, before your flight. If your first meeting is the next day, hotel delivery works too: the car arrives where you are staying.

Business trip car rental in Tbilisi: costs you can see in advance

Daytime delivery to Tbilisi airport costs ₾50, and delivery to a hotel or rented apartment in Tbilisi costs the same. Full comprehensive insurance is in the price, and mileage is unlimited, so trips between offices add nothing to the bill. You can pay for the rental by Visa or Mastercard, which suits business expenses. For the expense report, keep the booking messages and the payment documents: they make the costs easy to prove.

Choosing the car

For city work and meetings, a comfortable sedan fits best: it is quiet, easy to park and does not look out of place outside an office or a hotel entrance. For a group of colleagues with luggage, compare the boot size before you book.

If a factory, a building site or a regional office lies off the main roads, a car with more ground clearance from the SUV section is the safer choice. The insurance never covers tyres or the underbody, so their repair is paid by the renter; take gravel access roads slowly.

A colleague at the wheel

A second driver is free if they meet the same requirements: at least 21 years old with a year of driving experience. If a colleague who is not in the contract takes the wheel, the insurance still applies as long as they meet the age rule. It works well to split the driving by day: on a day out of town one person drives while the others work on the way. Agree in advance who drives back: after a day of meetings, it should be whoever is less tired.

Parking in the centre

Street parking in central Tbilisi is paid, and you pay for it yourself; check the rules on the sign before you leave the car. Business hotels often have their own car park; confirm it when you book the room, so you do not have to look for a space in the evening. If the hotel has no car park, ask at reception for the nearest guarded one.

For meetings in the old town, plan to park once and walk: the streets there are narrow and steep, and the distances between offices are short.

Planning a week of meetings

Group the meetings by district, so each day has one parking stop rather than five, and leave time between meetings for the drive and for finding a space. Keep the car for days with visits outside the city and for early starts. On a day with a regional visit, leave early to be back before the evening traffic.

If the week ends somewhere other than where it started, say so in the request together with the return time. Do not leave a laptop or documents in view in the car, even for a few minutes: put them in the boot before you arrive.
