Short and without the small print
Documents
Passport and driving licence. Foreign licences are valid in Georgia for 1 year from the date of entry.
Age and experience
From 21 years old with 1+ year of experience. A second driver is added free of charge.
Insurance
Full insurance with no excess is included for drivers with 2+ years of experience. With less experience an excess applies — the amount depends on the car. The insurance also applies if someone not named in the contract is driving, as long as they meet the age requirement. Tyres and the underbody are not covered anywhere, including mountain and gravel roads.
Fuel
We hand the car over with a full tank and expect it back the same way.
Mileage
Unlimited within Georgia.
Delivery and return
Batumi airport and any address in Batumi — free. Tbilisi and Kutaisi airports — ₾50, a hotel or apartment in Tbilisi — ₾50, in Kutaisi — ₾30. We deliver to airports around the clock; night delivery has a separate price, which we confirm when you book. You can return the car in another city: Tbilisi → Batumi is usually free, Batumi → Tbilisi may carry a fee.
Parking
Paid city parking is already covered everywhere except Tbilisi. In Tbilisi, you pay for parking yourself.
Crossing the border
Only for drivers holding a Georgian residence permit. A deposit is required and the service is paid separately; the price depends on the rental period.
Cancellation
Free if you cancel at least 24 hours before pick-up. Later than that — 10% of the booking value. We take no prepayment.
Frequently asked questions
What documents do I need?+
Your passport and driving licence. A licence from any country is valid in Georgia for one year from your date of entry. An international permit is not required.
Is a deposit required?+
No, we do not take a deposit. The only exception is driving abroad with a Georgian residence permit — see below.
Can I drive abroad?+
Only if you hold a Georgian residence permit. A deposit is required and the service is paid separately; the price depends on the rental period. Please let the manager know in advance.
Is there a mileage limit?+
No, mileage is unlimited within Georgia.
What about fuel?+
The car comes with a full tank and should be returned the same way. Fuel is paid separately.
What is the minimum age?+
21 years old with at least 1 year of driving experience.
How can I pay?+
You pay when you pick the car up, in Georgian lari, roubles, US dollars, euros or cryptocurrency. Visa and Mastercard are accepted too. If you have a Russian card, you can pay by bank transfer through online banking. No prepayment is needed to book.
Can I drive into the mountains and on gravel roads?+
Yes, except premium cars and low sedans. Gravel roads are not forbidden, but damage to tyres and the underbody is never covered by insurance — take care on such roads.
Can I add a second driver?+
Yes, free of charge. The second driver must meet the same requirements: at least 21 years old with at least one year of driving experience. Add them when you pick up the car, even if they may not end up driving — it is easier than adding them later. If someone who is not named in the contract drives, the insurance still applies, but they must meet the age requirement too.
