You can collect the car in one major city and return it in another, and the direction decides whether there is an extra charge. Tbilisi → Batumi is usually free. Batumi → Tbilisi sometimes carries a fee: the route is popular, and Batumi runs short of cars.

If there is a fee, its amount is named when you book. So mention a return in another city straight away, not at the handover, and the sum will be clear before you collect the car.

With any rental company, ask about four extras that most often appear only at the handover:
